Cookie Monster!

Chocolate Cookie Monster Cake! This was a tricky one to make, but eventually I figured it out. My good friend, Lauren, even had a 'cookie bar' so all the kids could pick any kind of cookie they wanted to munch on! Happy 1st Birthday, Brandt!

Wedding Anniversary Cake

A first Anniversary cake for some special friends of our family. The cake is a replica of their actual wedding cake with a twist. The couple had a country wedding with a potluck reception in a barn, so I hope I captured that same feeling with this cake for them. The cake was white with buttercream frosting. I made all the fondant details and then painted the color on each piece! Happy Anniversary Chaz & Hannah!

Fondant Fall Birthday Cake

This was such a cute cake- It was white with buttercream frosting and the details/roses were all done by hand in fondant. So cute!

Dancing Baby Boots Shower Cake

This was for a dear friend who's daughter is on the Dancing Boots team at Reynolds High School. The team was throwing a shower for their expecting coach, so I made replicas of their boots to celebrate baby! It was a white cake with buttercream icing & fondant detail work.

Triple Chocolate Ganache Cake

The ultimate chocolate cake! The cake was fudge chocolate with real hershey's buttercream icing topped off with a drizzled layer of chocolate ganache. It was fantastic!

Cars Birthday Cake

This was for my oldest son, Blake, on his 4th birthday. He dreamed of this cake from practically starting the day after his 3rd birthday! It was chocolate with buttercream frosting. It was such a joy to see the delight on his face when he saw it at his party!

Curious George Cupcake Tower

The smash cakes for birthday girl Arye & boy Xzavier!

This turned out so cute for two cousins turning one in the same month, so the mothers decided to combine and do a party together. The cake was French Vanilla with almond buttercream icing. Yum!

Cannoli Cake!

This was such a fun and challenging cake to make! It consisted of a heavy cake, cannoli filling complete with ricotta cheese & chocolate chips, and a fresh whipped cream icing. I've never used three separate recipes for one cake before, but it was well worth it for one of my best friend's birthday, Lauren. It tasted as good as it looked and was well worth the hard work!

Computer Ice Cream Cake

My sweet husband's 'Computer' birthday cake. It's actually an ice cream cake with yellow cake and strawberry ice cream in the middle. It's always nice to do something for family because there's no pressure to make it look perfect! It was Delicious!

Lady Bug Cake

Here is a precious little cake I made for my mother-in-law, "mee-maw" for her birthday. My favorite part was the border base that made the cake look like it was sitting on a daisy with white flower petals. She loves ladybugs and I was really happy with how it turned out!

Lace Wedding Cake

I had the privilege of making my first wedding cake for my sweet next door neighbor, Mae! I am so honored that she trusted me with such a task- seeing that I had never done it before. The wedding was absolutely beautiful and we had so much fun at the reception. The bride wanted a very delicate cake that matched the lace design of her beautiful wedding gown. So, this is what we came up with- a tight pattern of lace at the top of the cake that slowly spread out cascading down the layers with edible pearls for embellishment. I could not be happier with how it turned out and how much God truly blessed my hands. This cake was covered in prayer!!! Congrats to Mae & David!!

50 And Fabulous!!

This cake was SO much fun to make!! It was all done in buttercream with the top layer white and the bottom layer chocolate. I really enjoyed free-handing the zebra design. This was the first bow I've ever made of fondant and it wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it would be :)

Blue's Clues Cupcake Tower!

Here is the cupcake tower I made for my two year old son, Kyle! It was a tough week, but certainly a labor of love. The little Blue doll was made by our precious friend, Beth- she actually wrote the pattern design for it herself! It was a wonderful party~
